Good evening everyone!
It's time to update again and I am looking forward to it this time. After getting my feet wet these last couple weeks with online projects I am slowly gaining confidence in the blogging and online world.
Our first assignment since we last talked was an interactive poster using GLOGSTER. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS ASSIGNMENT!!! It was easy to use the website which had tons of great ideas and was very easy to use. The hardest part was deciding what to make my poster about. This is also a great program for students to use to make final projects, etc. I hope I have correctly added the link to my glogster poster. Again, this has been my favorite assignment so far.

After that we had to create a graphic organizer using Kidspiration. This was also a fun project, however I was not as impressed with the software for this application. I found it difficult to use, but useful for the classroom.
Finally we had to use Google Docs to create a grade book with graphs as well as an online form that students can fill out. I liked this assignment as well. It was great to have all the information in one spot and link to a spreashseet to compile all the data. I can also see how this would be useful in the classroom.
So far I am enjoying this class and the projects.
Sarah, I agree with you about the Glogster assignment. I clicked on your link, and it took me right to your page. It is great. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteI love your Glogster!! Great job!! I am also starting to get a little more confident as we move through this class. It's fun to see what the next project is and to know that I can actually do this! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI thought that Glogster was amazing as well! I was a bit worried about how hard it was going to be use and the Inspiration software I had difficulty using at first as well, but after playing with it for a bit I found it could be useful as a tool for students to organize their ideas if you could teach them how to use the software properly.
ReplyDeleteI loved Glogster, too! It can be used with any lesson and any topic, and provides a fun way to share information with students. I also love that it is simple and user-friendly. Your Glogster is great, I am impressed!
ReplyDeleteI have to jump on the train and say that Glogster was definitely my favorite activity so far. It was fun, versatile, easy to use and didn't take 12 years to make. I could definitely see using it in a classroom.
